SuperControl Plans and Hosts ASSC Regional Meeting
On Monday 30 March The Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC) held a networking event for self-catering businesses in Dumfries and Galloway. 34 businesses attended. The event was held at Orroland Lodge, a large holiday home near Kirkcudbright.
There are many ASSC registered businesses using SuperControl, so we were pleased to undertake the planning and hold the event on behalf of the ASSC. This was an opportunity for everyone attending to learn more about the ASSC and how it represents the industry. It gave existing members some regional representation and provided encouragement for other businesses to sign up.
It also ensured individuals were aware that support and advice were at hand and to feel part of the self-catering community, sharing information, knowledge and ideas on best practice.

The event was 2 hours long and 1.5 hours of this was dedicated to networking time, allowing attendees to discuss current issues, exchange ideas and view the table displays.
There was a delicious buffet lunch provided by Caterbirds and the chance to look around two self-catering properties at Orroland - appreciating the fantastic views.
The event had a very relaxed feel and feedback has been excellent.
