You can filter your database in SuperControl to categorise specific groups of guests to contact. This is useful for sending marketing emails and vouchers to provide incentives to help secure more bookings and fill up your availability calendars. Here’s how:

Login to SuperControl and go to Database > Filter.

Decide how you want to filter your contacts: e.g. it might be by the booking date or holiday date, by property, by booking duration or whether the guest has brought a dog with them in the past. Please take a look, there are many options to choose from.

When you have selected the search criteria, click Filter at the bottom left of the page. (Tick Show unique records to ensure that you don’t get duplicates).

Then choose one of the following:

1. Download a spreadsheet. Your customer information can be saved as an Excel file and used in mail merge for a print document, or uploaded to another programme.

2. Send an e-mailshot via MailChimp. Login to SuperControl, go to Help > Training videos > SuperControl PLUS > MailChimp video guide to see how.

3.Generate vouchers within SuperControl. Enter the voucher value, the type of discount and an expiry date. Then you can copy the code and paste it into e.g. your newsletter. Remember to tell your guests how to redeem the voucher – fill in the relevant voucher booking form field with the unique code sent to them.

That’s it! Now you can send targetted messages to your chosen contacts to increase the number of repeat bookings you get. Good luck!
