SuperControl is entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re pleased to introduce the person leading the way: Daniel Sacerdoti. He’s stepping into some big shoes, following in the footsteps of founders Melinda and Robert Kennedy, who built SuperControl from the ground up over the last 20 years.
Melinda and Robert shared this message as they hand over the reins:
“Everything built at SuperControl has been about supporting our customers with simple solutions that create clarity and control, delivering outstanding outcomes. It’s been a privilege to grow alongside them, and we know Daniel and the team will continue to uphold these values as they take SuperControl forward.”
Read on to learn more about Daniel and what he’s bringing to the team.
So, Daniel, tell us a bit about yourself. How did you end up here?
It’s been quite a journey.
My career started in an investment bank as a trader. I lasted four months before realising it wasn’t for me. From there, I trained as a chartered accountant, moved into airline finance, and even had a stint as a corporate jet pilot – but that’s a story for another day!
For the last nine years, I’ve been at Expedia, working on connectivity and vacation rentals, helping businesses like SuperControl connect with platforms to manage bookings, rates, and availability. That’s actually when I first met one of the company founders, Robert, so in a way, my path to SuperControl started long before now.

What are you most excited about in this new role?
There’s a lot to be excited about. SuperControl has an incredible foundation. A powerful product, a loyal customer base, and a team that’s deeply passionate about what they do.
I’m stepping into a business that has been carefully built over the last 20 years, and I have a huge appreciation for the legacy left by its founders. It’s an honour to be trusted to take that forward. My focus right now is on listening and learning, understanding what makes SuperControl valuable to its customers and where we can enhance that even further.
This isn’t about change for the sake of change. It’s about continuing to support property owners and agencies in running their businesses efficiently and successfully. The next chapter for SuperControl is going to be an exciting one, and I’m looking forward to working with the team and our customers to shape it together.
Speaking of the team, what’s it been like meeting them?
Honestly? Incredible. The level of passion, commitment, and expertise here is something special. Many of the team have been with SuperControl for years, moving through different roles and developing an amazing depth of knowledge. And can we talk about the location of our HQ in Castle Douglas? This has to be one of the most beautiful parts of the UK I’ve ever been to! A far cry from my home in the concrete jungle of London.
How would you describe your leadership style?
I’ll never be the kind of person who thrives on a blank sheet of paper, but put me in the middle of a business with history, opportunities, and potential? That’s where I love to be.
I’m consensus-driven. I love complexity, solving problems, and bringing teams together to find the best solutions. My role is to help evolve the business, to move it into this next phase while respecting the rich history and culture that was built before my time.
Finally, if you could leave one message for SuperControl’s customers, team, and partners, what would it be?
SuperControl is a fantastic business, built on 20 years of dedication and strong relationships. My goal isn’t to make sudden changes but to build on that legacy – thoughtfully, collaboratively, and always with our customers, team, and partners at the heart of what we do.
This next chapter isn’t just about my leadership, it’s about all of us shaping the future together. I’m looking forward to the journey ahead and to working with such a passionate team and engaged community.
There you have it. Daniel Sacerdoti, in his own words. He brings new ideas, a thoughtful approach, and a genuine appreciation for what makes SuperControl unique. We’re excited for this next chapter, and we know Daniel is too. Stay tuned, there’s more to come!
