At SuperControl, we’re all about creating remarkable experiences for our clients, but behind the scenes, it’s our amazing team that makes everything possible.

This year, we held our annual Star Awards celebration, an internal initiative to spotlight the individuals who go the extra mile for their teammates and for you.

We want to take a moment to share this celebration with you because these awards highlight the values that drive us as a team. The Star Awards showcase the passion, skill, and teamwork that drive everything we do.

The Star Award Categories

Here’s how we honoured our team this year:

  • The One Tribe Champion: For the inspiring team member who sparks open dialogue, builds trust, and shines brightly. They elevate our team activities with an encouraging spirit, ensuring that our team feels connected.
  • The Outstanding Contributor: For the person whose reliability is essential to our success. They consistently deliver high-quality work, driving progress for our team and going above and beyond for our clients.
  • The Lively Learner: For the individual whose enthusiasm for learning is contagious, who not only pursues knowledge with gratitude but also generously shares it, making a meaningful difference in their role.
  • The Customer Experience Superstar: For the individual whose work is always guided by the success and satisfaction of our clients. They approach every task with a dedication that contributes significantly to delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • The Impactful Innovator: For the individual whose technical expertise supports our success. Through essential bug fixes, quality assurance, and process improvements, they consistently enhance team performance and efficiency.
  • The Unsung Hero: For the person we can always count on. They’re a subject matter expert and the steady force that helps us do great things.

And the winners are… 🥁

Each winner has made an extraordinary impact. Here’s who we celebrated this year and what the team had to say about them:

One Tribe Champion

Shani Asbridge (People Operations & Executive Assistant)

“Shani consistently sparks open dialogue and builds trust within our workplace. Everyone loves her for her genuine warmth and uplifting energy.”

Tom Billings (Support Team Leader)

“Tom is always more than happy to help, get involved or offer advice, his humour shouldn’t be overlooked and is always there to cheer someone up.”

Outstanding Contributor

Brenda Clayton (Client Support Advisor)

“Brenda puts incredible care and attention into SuperScholar, and it really shows in the quality of her work. The webinars must take so much effort behind the scenes, but she makes it all look so effortless.”

Wiktor Bednarz (Developer)

“Wiktor always puts forward his best work. He has a great combination of talent and character which means he is very consistent in work quality and output.”

Lively Learner

Adam Curtis (Partnership Success Consultant & Technical Liaison)

“Adam quickly learnt all the developer processes and became a trustworthy expert in partnerships. If he has come this far in such a short space of time, it’s clear he will go much further.”

Igor Kostenko (Developer)

“Igor within a few months absolutely smashed the grid view project with his work and is now able to code review other peoples’ work.”

Customer Experience Superstar

Sam Brady (Support Team Leader)

“Sam provides first class customer care to all clients. She explains things thoroughly, often recording videos for them and making them feel well supported.”

Unsung Hero

Chris Henry (Data Analyst)

“Chris is always willing to use his knowledge to support his colleagues with solving problems and helping our clients to overcome their challenges.”

Shani Asbridge (People Operations & Executive Assistant)

“Shani is a superstar, while quietly working in the background a lot of things just wouldn’t get done if she wasn’t here.”

Agnieszka Bialowicz (HR Specialist)

“Agnieszka embodies the true spirit of an unsung hero, consistently going above and beyond without seeking recognition.”

Impactful Innovator

Wiktor Bednarz (Developer)

“Wiktor always provides easy to understand explanations for things, therefore simple to pass on to the client.”

Peter Graves (Senior Developer)

“Peter has a specific manner, which makes him hilariously helpful.”

Gratitude for a Great Year

To our clients, your trust and collaboration make it all worthwhile. These awards remind us of the wonderful individuals who make up SuperControl and their commitment to supporting you. As we celebrate their achievements, we also celebrate the year we’ve had with you. Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to an even greater 2025 together!
